Windsor Wheels Soccer Club (WWSC) is a competitive and recreational soccer program serving the Windsor and Essex County area. It is our mission to promote, provide and teach soccer in the Spirit of the Game, of "FUN, FAIRNESS and SAFETY". We strive to provide the best competition for all players, boys and girls ages 4-18, at their level of play. We also offer a Women's and Co-ed Recreational League.
When a player has an offer to play on their respective team, the coach will indicate the fees payable for their age group.
Players will receive a jersey, shorts, socks (each year),
Play is competitive while using the Long Term Player Development (LTPD) Model (U4-U12). Teams practice to game ratio is 2:1 per week. Soccer is a team sport and therefore it is important to be committed to the practices and games notifying your coach when you cannot be there. If you anticipate conflicts with other summer sports, it is expected that soccer is your highest priority. If possible it is best to notify your coach at the earliest time if you have planned a vacation. Please plan accordingly and let your coach know before the seasonstarts if you plan on being away.
Each player/team will receive at least 3-5 hours of training with their coach during the Outdoor season and 2 hours of training during the Indoor season per week.
WHEN: The season begins in May and ends in August, followed by a wrap up day (U8-U12) and district playoffs for older than U13 and up (in September).
We encourage payment of registration as soon as possible. and is required after players are selected for their respective team. If you need assistance for payment of fees, please contact www.kidssport.ca or Canadian Tire Jumpstart or contact your respective coach for direction in this matter. These programs require proof of financial need to help you pay for your child to play.
Please note that the Player's registration form must also be completed with payment. If the player does not have a player pass-book (check with your coach) then a wallet sized photograph and a photocopy of the birth certificate must also be completed and registered with ECSA.
